The Options Trading Championship 2007 is most unique in Asia and possibly around the world. It will be a true-to-life options trading drama as about 300 participants from around the region gather to outsmart and out-trade one another to earn the prestigious title of Grand Options Trading Champion, Options Trading Championship 2007.

Organized by Freely Pte Ltd, the event will be held over three consecutive days, testing the patience, investment smarts and analytical skills of the participants. The intensive race will begin at 9:30a.m. and end at 4:02p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) every day on the U.S. stock market, held concurrently in 3 countries – Singapore , Malaysia and Indonesia.

Championship Format

Each competitor will deposit a minimum of US$2,000 in a segregated trading account with the Broker and will place all orders through Broker’s online order entry platform. Additional funds may be deposited at any time during the Championship. Competitor will begin trading at the Championship venue from 17 October ( 9.30am EST ) 2007 and stop trading by 19 October ( 4.02pm EST ) 2007 (overnight in Asia , with Championship closing on 20 October 2007 morning). Open positions will be liquidated for the purposes of determining winners of the Championship. The Championship rules will ensure that every Competitor has the same opportunity for success.

Championship Categories

The three Competitors with Ending Equity that shows the highest percentage increase in net worth over their Total Funds Deposited will be the winners. The top three most profitable Competitors will receive Championship Awards to be determined with Sponsors, and a personalized Trophy. There will also be additional awards for Group Category, based on the collective results of Groups of 4 Competitors each, and Best Single Trade Category. Other awards may also be given in collaboration with Sponsors.
